The instrument gauge cluster was also modified with red needles and polished metal trim rings. In the performance department, the ZHP was equipped with the more aggressive DME tune to increase power from 225 hp (168 kW) to 235 hp (175 kW).[18] The engine redline raised from 6,500 rpm to 6,800 rpm to take advantage of the new power band and higher power output at higher RPMs.[19] As a result of the higher redline, the nut that fastens the oil pump´s sprocket came with threadlocker pre-applied from the factory to keep the nut from falling off. The car also received a shorter final drive ratio which allows for faster acceleration; 3.64 vs. 3.38 for the automatic. Car and Driver magazine track-tested the car, which returned a 0-60 mph time of 5.6 seconds and passed through the 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds. Suspension was modified over the standard suspension with firmer springs and dampers, larger anti-roll bars, stronger front control arm ball joints, a lower ride height, and slightly more negative camber.[19] The Style 135M wheels also came equipped with the much stickier compound, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, in a staggered configuration with 225/40-18 tires in the front and 255/35-18 tires in the back.The sport package was available on all E46´s, excluding cars with the Performance package and the M3. It consisted of a three spoke sports leather steering wheel and had improved grip over the standard ´square´ steering wheel. The car was also given sport seats which provided better bolstering and support than the stock seats. They also had adjustable thigh supports and were available in manual or power. The sports package also offered 17-inch wheels standard, which came with staggered lower profile tires. Rear-wheel-drive models ordered with the Sport package also received sport suspension, which offered improved handling by way of firmer springs, a lower ride height, and tighter dampers. It has a recent coolant flush and new spark plugs and has 15´ Konig wheels with newer tires on back and two extra new tires and a set of rare gold 280z wheels that will go with the car. It is a two tone and is bone stock other than the wheels and a shift knob. the gauge cluster lights go on and off when they want to but im working on fixing that soon. Details: This is a silver 2004 BMW 330ci. It is a six speed manual with grey leather interior. The car is daily driven with 100654 miles. There isn´t anything wrong with the car. I´ve had an inspection done by a certified BMW tech last month when i hit 100k. Control arm bushings,brakes,clutch, and oil seperator are all in excellent shape. The car has no leaks what so ever. I just got a new Bosch OEM starter installed two weeks ago. The reason I am wanting to get rid of the car is my line of work. I really need a truck to haul my tools and it would be a more convenient vehicle for myself, lifestyle and for my work. This car is a blast to drive! Details: I LOVE THIS CAR! I really dont want to sell it but it has come down to where I have no choice. It needs some TLC and I dont have the money or the time to fix it up. Motor needs some work and interior needs a little work itself. The car does start up and run but i would not recommend driving it. I parked it when i heard the timing chain making a little noise. We replaced the tentioner but that didnt fix it. BMW mechanic told me it may be the guides have gone bad. It does have a pretty good bit of miles on it so i would say best bet would be to either replace the motor or rebuild. It is a 5 speed with 211247 miles on the odometer.
